Memorial Weekend Biwabik MN
« on: May 30, 2016, 03:23:02 PM »
Our camping group was in Biwabik MN this weekend. First time hitting some trails instead of the wide open gravel roads in WI. My machine impressed the hell out of my group. They are all Honda, Kawasaki, and polaris fans. I'll post some pics and videos, this is my second attempt, first one I tried to upload a bunch at once and crashed something.

Ok for videos.

Late night at the campground and had to test the 42" 320 watt light bar.

Happy for excellent engine braking. The hill doesn't look too steep on video but it kinda is. Also that is a busy highway to cross into the campground. FYI that is my wife shrieking, not me.

The group brought me to a hole to challenge the machine. I made it across and then they got video of me coming back.

I decided to try the deep side of the hole.. No way. I chickened out when I sank deeper and the water started coming over the hood. The cab was almost thigh deep in water. I hope I didn't trash the belt or anything too bad as it sounded horrible coming out. It ran fine afterwards. No one else in the group would go through it and they were amazed that I didn't have to be pulled out.

Looks like a great ride.  Were you at the state off road park?  We went to Willow River and rode there until we had to leave when our puppy destroyed the window in the hotel.

Omg. Yeah, I said that at the same time as the guy in the video.  "That didn't sound good" hope it was just a lil slippage and nothing serious.

I have looked at some of the snorkel mods, but that kind of water is very unusual. They only took me there because I wanted to try out the 4 wheel drive as nothing had challenged this thing all weekend. As for the doors, thanks, I love them also.

Just local area trails. Was planning on going to the off road park but the weather changes our plans some this weekend. We don't live too far away and camp up that way occasionally so I am sure we will get up there this summer.

Nice pictures.  Glad to hear the CF Moto did great up there also.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.
