Last Ride of 2024

I was able to get out one more time.  Will be the last one of the season since they closed the gates on the first of the year.  I thought I was done riding in November after a big snow storm, but we haven't gotten much more snow so I was able to keep getting out.  This was a decent ride, mostly rode to a lower elevation where there isn't as much snow.  Started out higher, tried to go on a road that another vehicle had been a little further on, but I broke through the crust of the snow and high centered.  Thankful to have that rear mounted winch, worked out well.  Covered about 93 miles on the GPS, my Relive app didn't track all of it because I lost my phone on the road.  Didn't put it in it's mount and rode a while without realizing it.  When I did, I backtracked and found my phone.  It has been driven over by a SXS that I had seen on the road, there was also 1 truck, bu the tracks on the phone case were ATV type tires.  Messed up the screen protector (I hope that's all it is, haven't taken it off until the new one comes in), but overall I'm impressed that it didn't destroy the phone.  Weather was nice, saw 1 deer and rode on several roads I have not ridden before.  Ride was longer than I planned because the route I chose to head back on was blocked by a fallen tree.  I couldn't move it with the winch and didn't want to take the time to use my hand chain saw.  Was relieved that I was able to cover the 93 miles on a single tank of fuel since I no longer carry extra fuel unless I know I'm riding a long distance.  Here are some photos.  Sorry if I'm posting too many photos.

Tree that I couldn't get moved, no real easy drive around either.

Not too bad, considering it had been run over.
