Took a ride into Cowbone (8500 ft. elevation) and Darkhorse (8700 ft. elevation) lakes on Sunday. Overall trip was about 21 miles over a very rocky trail. Also drove into a couple of old abandon silver mines with one over 9000 ft. in elevation. Was a wonderful day, but not planning on taking that trip again anytime soon. I think most of the miles traveled were recorded in maneuvering around tall rocks. Once again we were on top of the Continental Divide so, given the time, we could have ridden over Goldstone Pass and down into the Lemhi River area, Idaho, and into Salmon, Idaho.
