[Lion City and Hecla Mines - A Montana Ghost Town - near Melrose, Montana MT]

We took a ride this weekend to the Hecla Mining District above Melrose Montana.  We parked at Melrose and drove 38 miles through Glendale to the Hecla area.  Nothing rough, just a nice ride to see and learn a little about Montana's mining history.  It was a beautiful day and a wonderful ride.  If you want to watch a YouTube video that shows you a bit of the exact ride we took go to youtube and type in, Lion City and Hecla Mines - A Montana Ghost Town - near Melrose, Montana MT   Just a note that we did not make this video, but it is the exact path we took.
