Went for the traditional after Thanksgiving ride.  Was a nice ride, one machine ended up with a flat, but since we all carry compressors that wasn't really an issue.  Started out cold but nice, saw a deer that posed nicely.  Then came the snow, but it was all still a good ride.  Unfortunately when we got back from the ride I tripped over a dog and ended up dislocating my shoulder.  Rather painful way to end the day and most likely will end my riding season.  I'm hoping I don't need surgery to repair a rotator cuff.

Yeah, this was the first time I've seen the lake frozen over.  Always a nice place to ride to in the winter when it's open.

I guess I should clarify that this is the first time I've seen it frozen over this season, been there many times in snow.  Looks like a fun ride you were having.  Update on the shoulder, ended up breaking a chunk of bone off the top of the humerus where the rotator cuff attaches, go back for follow up in a few days, hopefully the bone is healing and I won't need any surgery. 

Hope the shoulder doesn't need the surgery for sure. Sorry for season ending for you. Really pretty country in your photos. Speedy recovery to you.

Thanks to all who have wished me well, I appreciate it.  Getting old sucks, definitely more brittle. 

The dog is fine, never even moved, after I landed my feet were on top of him and he still didn't move.
