Finally got a chance to get out and ride again. Another solo. I must either live under Linus's cloud or a very lucky star. The last ride of 2024 I lost my cell phone and backtracked and found it. This ride I lost my cell phone again and was able to back track and find it again. At least this time the screen didn't get cracked. Started out at 32 degrees, but was nice and clear. Ran across some deer pretty quickly and they stayed and posed for a while. Then just another normal ride. Covered nearly 70 miles or so (Relive app said 65, but the phone was on the ground while backtracking twice to find the phone). I guess the backtracking miles don't really count. Drove through snow, mud and dry land. I took a familiar route just to see how the machine did after the winter and wanted to see what the conditions of some of the roads were in after the winter. One road I normally take is blocked by a very large fallen tree. Did not see any other wildlife, other than squirrels and chipmunks. Only saw a few cows, I guess as summer gets closer there will be more of the cattle brought up for grazing. Got a little bit stuck, but was able to back out of it eventually. Right near the end of the ride, the storm clouds were building and I knew I didn't want to get caught in a downpour. It has started to rain lightly towards the end, but I knew it was coming. I didn't quite get it loaded onto the trailer before the weather unleashed, so I ended up soaked anyway. Also had to try out the new Alien Head helmet cover. Just something to make me laugh when I see it sitting on the machine. Here are some photos.

You're welcome. Going to try to get out again this weekend if possible.

I'm not sure what made me get the helmet cover, but I figured maybe some people would find it humorous.
