2015 Ufource 800 Non-Power steering  Voltage regulator went out. Not paying attention I ordered 0800-177000 which is for a machine with power steering. Output is 600 watts.  The one I needed is 01AA-177000 output around 450 watts. If I use the 600 watt regulator do i stand a chance at overloading the stator.

Probably not hurt the statot as these stators are fixed-magnet three phase generators..(not alternators because the manual says so. ). Because of this they put out a constant voltage and wattage depending on the coil and magnet structure. The real problem may be because the Rectifier/regulator has to first take the AC voltage and invert it into DC. It is built to expect certain things from the stator which will be different for the 450 watt stator over the 600 watt. I can't say for sure but it may effect the output voltage and wattage on the DC side. If it were ne I would just get the right rectifier/regulator. Besides, if they would interchange they would just have the same part numbers...right? Of course no one says you can't also put the 600 watt stator and rotor in it. Then you could put a big-azz battery and run the winch all day...lol
