snorkel kit
« on: July 16, 2022, 02:14:15 AM »
So with my new Uf800, the dealer gave me a snorkel kit to fit , the box had been opened, and it looks like the right kit but it wont fit. the plastic piping for behind the set just wont line up with the bolt holes
Anybody else have dramas with this kit??

I made up my own snorkel for about $40.  Unless that kit is inexpensive (i see it was included in your buy - good deal) making my own setup wasn't so bad once I decided how I wanted to route it.

Kit was just part of the deal, but it isn't on the machine yet. You have to do without the mudguard in front of the rear tyre which I'm not happy with either. The outside pipes fit in good, but it would have been better to supply some blanks for the airbox and pipe it to the airbox but this kit replaces the airbox with joining pipes.  Will try to get pics

Same here. Made one for the cat also. Cheap and easy. 2" abs tubing and other bits.
