Recal notice
« on: February 07, 2018, 12:10:57 PM »
Received a letter from CFmoto
‘Cfmoto’s technical department has uncovered a situation that could cause a fuel leak and even a fire on your Uforce 800. To remedy this problem, Cfmoto is initiating a recall campaign aimed at changing the main fuel hose position.
It’s still -30c and plenty of snow on the ground, so I’ll be taking her in sometime in March.

The recall is new, dated Jan 30,2018. The relocation of the fuel hose is easy, getting @ it might be a different thing  :P Passenger seat comes out as well the air box & center console. On the engine near a valve cover a black bracket is mounted to the cylinder. The fuel hose is currently zapped strapped to the top of the bracket, you simply cut the tie & route the hose underneath & re tie.

You need to run the vin & see if your unit is involved.
ZF 800 LX Trail, stock for now.......not for long.

Couldn't find anything on their website, the recalls spot appears to have been removed. I've reached out to them with my VIN to see if mine is affected. Waiting to hear back. Have 2016 UForce 800.

Just a FYI that bulletins will be handled differently from one country to the next, so what is being posted here in the canada market may not be true for USA and vice versa.
