Gas pedal slow reaction time

The one thing I noticed on my Uforce is how much play there is when I press down on the gas peddle before my ride moves forward. Seems to be at lease 2" of free play before it gets going.
Is there an adjustment for that?

There are cable adjustments on either end of the cable. Be sure to leave at least 1/4" of play
