FUEL FILTER LOCATION
« on: September 21, 2021, 11:22:35 AM »
Does anyone know where the fuel filter is located on these uforce. The only type of filter I've found is on the fuel module in the tank looks like  a cloth bag.

Should be able to find it by just following the fuel line back from the injectors. On the Zs it's behind the air box but I'm sure it's different on the U's.

The only fuel filter on the 2017 uforces is in the tank in front of the fuel pump. I removed the inside plastics and the lines leave the fuel module straight to the injectors.

Well that sucks...actually..doesn't seem right. Fuel injectors need a fine filter and something to trap moisture after the pump and before the injectors. They all have them...in some way that I know of. I think if it were mine I would install one. Easy enough to do. Just an in-line filter. This is how they do it on the Zs:

Yea I thought that was strange there was no in line fuel filter. This unit was purchased new and has never had any mods done to it. I'm going to cut an inline fuel filter in.

Hi do you remember the size the filter you fitted? Possibly a brand/pat number? The diameter of the inlet and outlet would be great too. Thanks 🙏
