Hello everyone, I just joined the forum.

I am looking at a 2015 UFORCE 800 and was wandering if I could get some input:

How easy is the maintenance to perform on this unit? Ease of changing oil and air filters?

Also any input on this model would be appreciated.

I am a newby to ATV's and have test ridden few, just looking for a little input, good or bad about this model.

Welcome RLEMON5. I'm sure you will get the answers you need. I can say the 800s are fairly easy to maintenance. They do use the cartridge-type oil filter but that's really not that bad to change. As for the rear valve adjustment, the entire cover comes off so that also pretty easy.  Break them in strong, change the oil right away a few times and always always replace the stock air filter before any usage. They all have issues. If they aren't coming apart, they let 7-10 micron and smaller particles get by. Have the dealer do it as part of the deal. Use the straight Unifilter... this one:

Thanks for the information, this one is a used model with 380 miles on it, it was traded in at a local Polaris dealer. Is there anything that I should look for that could be wrong with it?

I think look at all the standard stuff like wheel bearings, differential end play..ie slop in the drive train. Engine sound and running. DOES it still have the OE airfilter..( lets hope not). How does it handle...meaning does it feel tight still...how are the brakes...you know...all that stuff.

This would be my 1st ATV so I wouldn't know how to check those things, maybe I can get a friend who has had ATV's go with me to check it over. If it does have the factory air filter would that be a deal breaker, should I stay away from it?

No, but check the condition and get a sense of where she's been. It's probably fine.

The price seems great. As NMKawierider said.  Do the basic check list and if it feels good. SNAG IT.
