Turn Signal Kit
« on: June 26, 2023, 10:32:23 AM »
I just received and installed the CFMOTO OEM Turn Signal kit on my 2022 UForce 600. I'm not sure if i installed them wrong or maybe have too high of expectations but i'm a little disappointed that with plug-and-play installation you loose white reverse for amber signal lights, i thought i would get to keep white reverse adding amber signal flash.

Installed the flasher under the hood, the turn signal switch and the hazard switch to the dash. The integrated headlight/signals work great! The kit came with replacement tail light assemblies. I took off the side panels of the bed to install the new tail light assemblies. At first the new tail lights would not blink on signal but swapping an in line connection nearby to other possible connection did get them blinking amber as expected. What was unexpected is the inline single connection only allows plug to either reverse light OR signal light - you don't get both. It appears the new assemblies do not have white bulbs at all, only the red and amber. The hazard flash seemed odd at first too because it blinks at a different pace than the signals. The hazard flash is a very very short flash with a long interval in between.

Did i miss something with 'plug and play' signal light installation kit that would allow both signal lights and a white reverse light, or is this just not possible with the OEM signal kit?

Not sure anyone here can answer your questions.   Someone is going to have to check your work.. or you have to take it to the 'stealer'.

Salt in a wound, but I opted for the Rocky Mountain parts for about $50 and the blinkers work perfectly.

Yeah that what most people do...and what I would probably do also. For mine it would also mean changing out the tail lights but it didn't come with a backup light so..no great loss except in the cost.
