2022 Uforce 600 I put the weights on a scale and they are 20 grams so with 2 penny's they are 25 grams. What is everyone running to get a smooth take off. Mine engages at 2100 now instead of 2800 which is better but would like it lower. What are your suggestions? I have not clocked the secondary yet.

Well #1- Really should get a balanced set of weights...if that weight is OK with the rest of the RPM range and your type of riding. Otherwise the imbalance will take out the main bearing or shaft bearing on that side. Then if needed, fine-tune it to a lower RPM engagement with a spring with a lighter starting number while maintaining the same or close to the same higher resistance number. Remember, you must have not less then 300 RPM between idle and belt engagement. 5-700 is the minimum industry preferred. Otherwise there may be times when it won't disengage...and that would suck.

I ordered some weights. On the spring which number is the engagement first or second number. Also where would you get a primary spring at?

Understanding how primary spring resistance is measured helps. They are put in a press with with a gauge that measures how much force or pressure it took to compress that spring to 2 (or more) lengths. CVTech uses two and uses millimeters for the lengths and newton meters(Nm) for the resistance readings. 60mm then down to 32mm. As your primary closes, it also is squeezing that spring down so as it starts, the lower the first number the less resistance the flyweights have to overcome so the lower the RPM is on engagement. You need to find out what spring is in there first by pulling it and comparing the color code.. and compare it to the chart below. Then pick one that fits your needs. And again, be mindful that a little but goes a long way. After the image below I'll post where you can get springs.

Thanks for the info very useful I am new to all of this. I am on the deer stand as I type this. I will get the spring out this week when I get back home. The weight's improved it a lot I only put the Penny's long enough to see what worked then ordered the weights. I like it just would like for it to engage a little sooner.

Probably not. I'd try it and if by chance it was too much I would take a half a gram each off the weights until I got it where I needed it. Just need a scale and a small grinder or belt sander with a fine carbide belt. But it might be perfect as is...or at least close enough.

Hi, Id be interested to know if and how you went with this. I have a uforce 600 2022 and have done the reclock. It made quite a difference, but would still like a bit earlier engagement.

What is a good clock setting to start with, since the factory one is not the best?
