Upgrade shocks and seat
« on: September 26, 2019, 09:54:43 AM »
I was wondering what is out there for a good shock replacement. I was on good ride, a lot of rock so it was pretty rough and I thought I would switch with my buddy who has a Kawasaki TRYX 800 to try his out and compare and oh my! It was like riding in a cadillac. First thing I noticed was how soft the seats were and then the ride was night and day. Anyone know of a reasonably priced set of shocks that work better and seats that fit a Uforce 500? The ride is terrible I think I need to loosen up the spring tension for now but a better set of shocks is the way to go I think.
Thanks

Their Teryx is their sport/utility SxS...a very different animal then any U-Force which is all utility. A better comparison is to their Mule..which in all reality is also probably way better then the UForce as well. I just got back from a longer ride with my Z and still can't believe the difference the Bandit springs made with my stock shocks. They are so compliant and smooth it's almost like a set of Elkas..almost :) I would check with them on springs and shocks. I would also contact Elka as they seem to be ahead of others in the aftermarket shock area.
