This machine was obviously never serviced and treated like a piece of trash for most of its short 3 year working life. The mongrel owner had swamped it and never cleaned it so the rear callipers are basically seized. Ive taken them off but nothing is moving the handbrake mechanism. Does anyone know if there Is a trick to these callipers?

Thanks for any ideas.....

On mine the slide pins were rusted and seized from the factory..brand new..all four. After removal from the rotor I have to remove the ribber cups then apply a real rust breaker like liquid wrench or PB spray..not WD40, let then sit over night then heat the case with a torch  being careful as they are aluminum, working the pins with vicegrips bit by bit until they came out then cleaned the bores with small wire brush from a gun cleaning kit on a drill, flushed with BraKlean and greased with marine grease, re-polished the pins and reinstalled with the rubber cups. Haven't looked at them sense but still working fine.
