Hey guys....

I just got my U Force 500 a few days ago.  I only have 4 miles on it and now it is getting very hard to shift it into PARK.  To get it to lock in, I have to slam it into Park.  If it doesn't lock in, and you try to slide the lever forward, the button on the side is very hard to push in.  Am I doing something wrong?  Any hints?  It just doesn't seem like one would have to slam this brand new machine around to get it into park!  Any ideas appreciated!  :-)

Might mean it needs adjustment or...the fork or parking paw is damaged. I would take it in.

I slam mine into park and different gears since new. Something I got used to doing.
Sometimes I need to slightly rock the machine front to back with my body shifting in the seat if you know what I mean for it to properly engage.
It seems to depend on the terrain and incline I am parked on at the time. Usually better on level ground.

I am certainly not gentle with it if I compare with my SUV. I gave up running to dealers but have them look at it if yours is still under warranty.

Taking the UTV in for service is going to be a pain in the back end!  My dealership is 30 miles away, and I have no trailer available right now.  Can I adjust this myself?  I was driving it around a lot today and it only was difficult to get into park once.  Ggggrrrr!!!!

If the problem is just the shifter alignment, yes, of course you can do it yourself. Otherwise it's inside the transmission...and nope..you do not...lol

Hey guys with your hard shifting UTVs. I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Always shifted hard since new.

Now my CF Moto 600 is jamed in high gear. Of course it won't start in gear, so I have to drag it around with my wheel horse with no rotation of the tires.

If any one of you had yours fixed in frame or you had to remove your engine....or the dealer removed it to fix the problem. And what was the problem, like the shift barrel or shift fork?

Would appreciate an experienced response.....THANKS VERY MUCH....
