Information about buying
« on: November 13, 2020, 04:39:23 AM »
Hi, I was thinking of buying UForce 500 or 800, primarily because they're road legal in the UK.

Does anyone know the process of registering them to the relevant government department when you get them?

How reliable are these machines? I was thinking about getting a Honda Pioneer 700 but they're quite annoying to get road legal.

Is it better to go for a 800? I think a 500 would be suitable for my needs.

I can't answer all your questions but I'm sure there are those that can. I would thing your dealer could best answer your question on registration and of course your version of the DMV would also be a good source. On weather you should get an 800 or 500, that's up to your needs but the 800 will take the hills better especially with two people. On reliability...no Chinese-made...anything.. is at the top of any reliability list, but CFM is better then most other Chinese manufacturers by quite a bit.  Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki and Can Am are at the UTV leading edge in the reliability area. However, if this machine is primarily used on the road, then any machine maintaining it's max RPM and speed for long periods is going to take it's toll. Off-road machines weren't designed for full time...or near full time on-road use running at 6000+rpms for long periods. Better to get a car or truck for that. But for short runs they are fine.  JMO :)
