I have had one (CF500uu) since February 2016 but only done about 220kms it's been invaluable on the property (14 acres) but it's always seemed a bit low in power but capable. It has been intermittently letting me down and I have to walk away and let it cool down before I can drive it again. I thought it was the transmission over heating as it is always heat related. Recently during some hot weather I have realised that the rear wheels spin but the fronts don't budge I jacked up the vehicle and tried to spin the front wheels and they are jammed. Seems the brakes are locking up when the vehicle gets warm and the ambient temp gets around 30c which is quite common. So it's time to rent a trailer and back to the dealer asap.
Loosen the rod to the master cylinder. Many have reported they were too tight and not letting the piston return all the way. Should be some play in it.

One year UForce 500 and Loving it, thank heaven also for the CFMOTO -forum for all the help, enlightenment, and wisdom given to new owners like me.  Not only do I find help with my Moto questions, but I get motivated to always improve and modify my machine.  I've added a plow, dump bucket, 10ft spray rig, front end electric fertilizer spreader, CVT blower, CVT exhaust gage to know when its hot, additional air filters, tons of sound dealing modifications so much that my wife and I can talk in normal voices while cruzing at 40mph, three new lighted rocker switches to power my gadgets.  And just today leaned how to activate my wench remote for the first time.  I've always relied on the cable control.  Now I need to learn how to upload a few videos, & pics of my past year with "Quizi" my Workhorse UForce 500

1 year later and I'm Loving it, Playing in it, modifying it, and working with it.  Is it a toy, or a Working tool?

Holy cow, my brakes are totally the other way.  Pedal usually goes to the floor and if I really have to stop, pull the hand brake.

I experienced both. Fresh out of the crate the wheels were locked so the master cylinder was replaced. The dealer dropped off the machine in my driveway with hardly any brakes at all. Brought it to another shop and was told they performed a service bulletin "procedure" as recommended by CFMOTO. A little bit better but would not trust them with my life. Good thing that engine braking is excellent and almost too much on these machines... ::)

So mine is at the dealer.  He is supposed to replace master cylinder and say that will fix my brake problem.  But I also started having a problem with not being able to shift the machine while it was running.  All I know is he is replacing the drive belt and it is taking forever to come on the slow boat from China.  BTW The machine now has just over 200 miles on it.  Yes that is TWO HUNDRED miles.  Bottom line, if I had to do it over, I'd buy a brand name!
