Aftermarket rear brake pads
« on: September 22, 2020, 04:34:23 PM »
2018 Uforce 500, I'm going to fix the annoying brake squeal that seems to be prevalent in these machines.

I have the front EBC pad numbers,
FA726R.

My understanding is that the rear pads,
FA747R have not been released yet.

What's my option here? Just bevel the rear pads, apply some pad grease to the backs, and hope for the best?

OR, are there other pads available?

Check ebay for other manufacturers but yeah, flat sand the glaze off, chamfer both leading and trailing edges, make sure the slides all work and use the RED disk brake quiet on the backs.

Yep, that's the process that I will use.

Front brakes don't squeal, but rears are horrible.

I'll update this thread when everything is done
