Turn Signal Kit
« on: September 01, 2020, 03:42:32 PM »
Looking for a turn signal kit to make our UForce street legal.  I've found some aftermarket but was curious if anyone had any good experiences with any certain kits before I buy.  I have found a stock kit that looks to be about $1500 but was looking to spend a little less if possible.  Thoughts?

I bought the switch from cfmoto , like $20 and a flasher . The switch plugs right into factory wires behind dash . Wires for flasher are right under front by brake fluid canister . I'm sure cfmoto sells the correct flasher to plug into it but the one I ordered had a different style plug but does the same thing so I just used the plug that is there to cap off the wired plug ,removed the rubber inserts and added my own wire so nothing had to be cut . The wires for the rear signals are there already right next to the reverse lights and can actually be plugged into the reverse lights instead to use as turn signals ,I cut out some red reflector material and added it to the recess where the reverse lights are .The front turn signal wires are on each side in the headlight harness ,they stop at the connector so again I removed the rubber plug from the connector and added my own wire to run to a turn signal light that I added just below the headlights

Those are the two things I ordered from CFMoto for my light kit.  The switch plugs right in behind the dash.  The flasher goes behind the driver's side headlamp, there is a plug there with a plastic cap on to keep clean.   I zip tied all that up out of way and tied into wiring already at the front lights (part of headlight bundle) for front signals and rear are part of the bundle that clips together under the box.  Add lights of your choice and it was relatively easy and considerably cheaper than and decent full on kit I've seen.

I received the two factory parts already.  Any way you would care to share the turn signal kit that you purchased?  Also, not quite following you on the brake lights.
