So I have this loud whining and clanking noise coming from the u it when I decelerate from any speed. Took it to the shop and apparently on the 2019 Uforce 1000’s they have a known issue with the driveshaft. I’ve also noticed that the rear diff does not seem to be releasing and both axel’s are engaged all the time. They may end up replacing this as well under warranty. Anyone else have these issues?

If a machine does not have "terf-mode", they don't have the ability to be a "differential" like the front. Both axles spline-into the one carrier and are locked together all the time...like most all ATV and UTVs are. If your new UForce 1000s has a Terf Mode (which I don't see one in either the 2019 or 2020 parts list) and won't unlock, yes, there is a problem internally. Additionally, many CFM drivetrain and gear cases are so sloppy-loose, they are not only more "whiny" but also pop more then most others brands.

I don’t know of any CFs having a limited slip rear. I guess there could be,but I haven’t seen one.

According to all the parts diagrams I have looked at, none have the needed spider/sun/planetary gear setup to to differentiate the speed of the axles separately..like the front. So all are just solid gear cases.

In Europe de CF Moto ATV's have an open diff, the 620, 850 and 1000. It is due to the license laws over here.
The Z and U models have now a different license and an on-road speedlimit of 60 km/h. The have NO open diff.
My 2017 Force 800 was the last one that hat a normal license with no speedlimit.
Therefor I will not trade that machine in.......ever.

Good to know. I wish they would show both in the parts break-down though.
