I would think that would depend on one's skill level.. and actual damage. Without the lockers they are fairly basic but do require some working knowledge...and some tools.

But I always base my decision on price
My sportsman diffs where 1/3 of the cost to rebuild
But if it was a matter of 100$ or 2 I’d Likley just buy new
