Only getting 6k rpm’s
« on: November 10, 2022, 07:02:10 PM »
Bought the uforce 1000 about a month and half ago.  Decided to test it out.  Only can get 5900-6000 rpm’s out of it then the gas just gives up.  Is there a safety feature or rev limiter on this thing shutting it down?  I don’t think the work/normal mode has anything to do with it. Thanks for your help.

I have heard that because the UForce is designed as a work or pure utility vehicle, not sports like the Zs, it has a lower top end.. and to do that they lower the RPM limiter. I do not know any of the particulars but people are having the ECUs re-flashed to get more power and speed. Please be careful going fast on a pure utility vehicle though...they just were not designed for that.

Thank you for answering.  Im careful and the machine seems fine.  The specs just say 79hp at 7500 rpm’s.  I can hardly get 6000 rpm’s, so not sure how to get 7500.  Just really wanted to make sure UTV was running correctly.  But not able to get a straight forward answer from anyone. Thanks.

Is your seatbelt clicked in? There is a safety feature that only lets it go so fast if the seatbelt isn’t worn or at least clicked in.

Harry bagpipes is right. The drivers side seat belt has to be worn or clicked in for top performance.

Seatbelt is clicked in and being worn.  Still no difference. Not sure what’s up.
