Hi, I just purchased a 2021 Uforce 1000 and to legally ride it in my state of South Dakota on any public road it needs to have a lighted license plate visible at the rear of the machine.
Anyone else done this, where to get a 12v light source etc?

Just get something like this motorcycle plate frame and tap into the tail light power wire...and ground it. Cake.

This is what I was looking at to mount underneath. Looks to be some wiring under the box for a trailer plug, was hoping to tap into that.

Yeah...Mine would have to be in the middle somewhere because of the extra tail light...but 10 bucks -V- 30 bucks? Gota be something cheaper out there. It's just a motorcycle license plate and one baby LED.

This is the 12v power supply for the license plate light. Any clue what this plug is called to find a male version to fit into it?

Test it for power with the lights on. If so, use it...but I always thought the only extra wires back there...and up front were for turn signals. What are the two wire colors? Maybe I can look it up.

Lol..yep, you are right. That shows to be the license plate light. How about that!
Its a 12VDC-5watt tap so most any bulb type will work.

Do you know of a accessory plug that fits in this? There is currently a blank plug in it to protect the terminals.

Not surprised..its Chinese. Probably have to just cut it off and use something else or wire it direct.

Take out the 2 small rubber plugs from the connector and insert your own wires into it ,dab of silicone and done

License plate bracket I purchased came with it's own electrical plugs, so I just removed the factory version.
