Can anyone in this country explain this to me besides saying it's made in China like everything sold by anyone else isn't made in  China!

Rock it back and forth. Sometimes pressure on the parking arm in the trans will lock it in park. As you push it back and forth pull it out of park.

When parked on a hill and you are by yourself it is a bit hard to rock the unit back and forth due to weight of vehicle.  I had to use winch to tree to relief pressure on transmission.   Poor design .   I actually started a thread on this yesterday

Exact same thing happened to me on my first ride.  Put it in park on a incline and couldn't get it out.  I managed to rock it out and then I noticed it would no longer go into Low.   Adjusted the linkage (very easy)  I think the reason it got stuck in Park was incorrectly adjusted linkage from factory - or maybe the dealer does that not sure.
