Noticed a coolant puddle under my 2019 uforce 1000 this weekend. So called dealership Monday and they had me drop off right away. Got a call today saying the coolant is pouring out from block where it splits. Was told warranty just ran out. Of course was quoted $3000 to fix. Curious if I have great luck or anyone else heard of this happening.
I'll have to look but to my knowledge the coolant tracks does not cross the case split. The 1000s are different but I have a manual on the 1000 Z and will take a look. Now I have heard of oil leaking from the split...and engine oil mixing with gear lube and visa-versa but never coolant. Now literally thousands have had coolant leaks from the water pump's mechanical seal. That's common.
UPDATE: I just sent you a link to that 1000 service manual and it shows it does not flow between the halfs, in and out of the pump, then to the cylinders by way of external pipe, then out through thermostat housings to the radiator...then back again to the pump. It can be leaking on the mechanical seal, any cover related to the pump, cylinder base gasket or anything above line the thermostat housing but..not themain case split point. Make then show you.
