The system has a larger main fuse before the distribution fuse box and some other systems. It's not a "charging fuse"..per say but the charging system does dump back into that line in that area. It is a known fact that CFM has had many issues with that fuse holder in the past.. as in bad internal crimp connections. This makes not only low to no voltage going to the systems at times, but that resistance makes the holder itself hot..hot enough to melt the plastic at times and because the line load isn't enough to blow the fuse, it usually won't blow unless a load exceeds the fuse limit because of a non-start like a fan motor or starter relay...ect. The only cure is to replace it. Yours sounds like it's had enough and is overdue for replacement...before it damages the regulator, stator or god forbid cause a fire. Most of these were in 2018-2020 but there have been a few after.
