A couple questions
« on: February 18, 2023, 11:11:53 AM »
I just bought a 2023  Uforce 1000  and new to the forum.  I've been looking around the forum for a while.  I can confirm that the Jumpy throttle is present in the 2023 model.  I saw that 2 choices were changing the spring in the clutch and getting the ecu reprogrammed however the company that reprograms them only lists to 2021.
I also don't understand the engine braking. it kicks in the minute you let off the throttle but then completely releases at 4mph and you are freewheeling from that point on. it never kicks back in.  Is that the way its supposed to work?
getting back on the gas after the engine braking has kicked in is not a smooth thing at all. I basically I feel like you want to never let off the gas because if you do its going to start lurching. Same with going over rough terrain cant keep foot feathered on the pedal on a rough trail.  Its better in High but they say you shouldn't drive in High all the time.
Also this morning noticed some sort of rattle in the front end when driving haven't  been able to figure it out yet.
Any advice from CFMOTO owners with more experience is appreciated.

There’s no engine break in them that’s just the normal cvt break
Till the belt rides on the one way bearing an your free wheeling it’s annoying my 21 is the same

Reclocking your secondary will help with take off an a lighter spring if needed after that
But your work normal switch should help as well that was the big thing in 23 but maybe it’s not as glorious as they say

Have you checked all the nuts and bolts in the front end
My Aarms won’t even finger tight
21 uforce 1000
SA doors
30” dirt commander 2.0 on itp deltas
Custom cab and box cover
Custom clutching

I figured 'normal' mode was the way to go but dealer claimed I should be in 'Work' most of the time.  Running in High solves the problem its smooth enough in High in either work or normal. I guess I would wear out belts quicker though.
I checked the A-Arms they are pretty tight there is some play but Im afraid to put much more torque on those bolts.
I did manage to sort of isolate it.  I can replicate it sitting still buy shaking  it side to side standing outside...but only when the engine is running. Weird. I guess its not in the driveline I'm thinking it might be related to the Fan.
