2 inch LIFT KIT. Are the wheel spacers necessary?
« on: September 18, 2023, 08:50:07 PM »
I'm about to install a 2 inch lift kit on a 2022 U force 1000. It is not the XL version and I'm looking for opinions on whether I need the wheel spacers or not?

I made my own the same as the perfex kit
With factory tires running 29” tire I did find it best to run spacers 1.5 in the rear an 1 in the front kept them inline with the body
the tires tuck in a bit more then they already are with the lift
But in saying that a never checked if they rub
I have aftermarket rims 5+2 offset I think an 30”tires now an I just run 1” in the rear

Not a great answer I know but hopefully helpful

Thanks for the insight. I'm running the stock 27's right now and hoping to avoid the spacers until upgrading to a larger wheel.

For stock wheels/tires, you will need 2 in. on the rear and 1.5 in. on the front.
Pacific Eagle UTV Enclosures were the first manufacture to support CF Moto with aftermarket Cab Enclosures and Windshields. Today we manufacture 32 Cab Enclosure combos for the UForce 500, 600, 800 &1000. We also manufacture 28 Cab combos for the ZForce 500, 600, 800 & 950 Sport & 1000. We think we have pretty much got CF Moto covered. We have updated our name to Pacific Eagle Powersports.

Pacific Eagle UTV Thanks for that recommendation. Could you take a moment to explain why that's a good idea for me and many other new side x side riders?

So that will maintain your UForce 1000 width for the CF Moto factory wheels. Adding wheel spaces also adds another point of failure so you need to get the correct gap. The size I gave you is the recommended size.

When you raise the machine this causes the suspension to bring the wheels inward thus reducing the width between the tires; thus you need to add wheel spacers if you want to keep your widith what it was prior to adding the lift kit.
