Zforce 800ex or 950 sport
« on: June 20, 2021, 09:07:26 PM »
Hi all new to this forum. Currently on grizzlycentral and own a grizzly atv love  it alot. A friend of mine just got a 950 sport  an it rides so  nice has the power  i like    i helped him find one  he drove 3 plus hours  to get it. I am very torn between the 800 ex or 950? Love the looks of 800 but power  and the led lights  of the 950.i beena  loyal yamaha guy  but i cant see spending that kinda cash on a sxs  and it being my first. I tried to find a comparison  site  to show them next to each other and the spec and i am so unsure  of either due to it is a china brand  and i am so use to my yamaha.  What are your thoughts of each? Any pro or cons better quality  or the other ?

There are several things to consider here but lets focus on the two first. The 800s are the old style and design going back to 2014. They had many issues and fixes along the way and they ended being as decent as they could be...for such an old design. The new 950 is very different with all the old stuff gone. Its much more modern and now that it's been out for two years, most of the bugs are worked-out. So..not a straight across comparison between these two. The 800 and 500's are about to become obsolete so IMO you best get the newest. The other line of thought is...you are a Yamaha-guy, and that means you are used to top-of-the-line design and parts quality. You can't and may never be able to compare Japanese and Chinese products. CFMoto is one of the better Chinese manufacturers however they have a long way to go to be in the same league as Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda and even Suzuki for that matter. Just keep that in mind. That's also how they can keep the price so low in comparison. Now..go get your new 950! :)
