Warranty Problem
« on: May 24, 2017, 09:23:37 PM »
Everybody talks about how good they are but when you really have a problem with it.They just give you a runaround. 30 days it's set in the shop to get fixed. Even called cf moto to see why they want give the ok to fix it. That was the last time I never talked to cf moto. I had to pay 210.00 to get it back from a cf moto dealership STILL NOT FIX. The rear cylinder failed the test with 0 psi after further inspection found that the rear camshaft gear was spun loose from crank and also found that rear cam chain was kinked cause of problem appeared to be the cam chain tensioner.Found that the spring inside the tensioner was mangled.  I have 174 miles on it

There is no chance I would be paying them. sounds like the dealer is the problem not contacting cfmoto and not wanting to fix the thing because you didn't buy it from them which is bad business.

Here in Maine we have what is called an Implied Warrantee which is enforced by the Maine Attorney Generals office on any product that is purchased "new". I would look into that. Realize that once you file a claim on the implied warrantee law the dealership will probably stop working on the machine and wait for the case to settle. I know that it is frustrating to wait but that is possibly a way to get your money back.

Here's the link for you for Maine. Look for one that applies in your state. It appears that there are only 10 states that participate. Good Luck!
