UForce choices
« on: April 19, 2020, 08:38:20 PM »
So my wife and I have been wanting a sxs for a while now, and have been looking at all the options. Yamaha, Polaris, can-am, etc.

We have a small farm so a more utility friendly model is what we want, but we also want to ride the trails with friends too.

After countless test drives and research, we stumbled into CFM and everything seems amazon with what they offer for the price point. Our dilemma, we don’t know weather to go with the UForce 800 or 1000.

We originally thought the 1000 but my wife started doubting her choice after seeing the somewhat flimsy center console, and the bench seats would not be as comfortable on a longer trips.

Just looking for advice and personal opinions from people other than the sales staff.

Thank you!!

Myself I like the bigger cab, more room to stretch out. Adjustable seat is nice as well if you have different size operators. As you have noted the versatility with the U force, dump box etc.

One thing I did not like was the suspension, to rough for any distance. I would upgrade the coil overs, even the base Elka's offer a day & night difference in ride quality. Maybe that might help with the seat position  :)

There is a trade off for the price, I call it the grief factor. You need an above average dealer to buffer you from that, make sure to do your homework on living with Chinese after sale.
ZF 800 LX Trail, stock for now.......not for long.

Appreciate the feedback.

My wife has decided that she likes the 800 more. So I’ve been diving into reviews and videos, which are difficult to find.

Also the aftermarket selection is fairly low, but we will make due. The dealer seems honest and he’s a good guy. Of all the machines he’s sold, he’s not once had a major repair.

If there are any lift kits out there that would be ideal.

Thank you again!
