Just depends on usage I think. Both have good and bads. I've had good luck with mine but others haven't...same for RzR owners. Now if it were between an 800 Z or an 900RzR...I'd get the RzR...but 800 to 800..I probably would take the CFM EX over the RzR.

I agree with the last post.

You might want to check out the RZR forum to get an idea of the kinds of problems they have, and there are many.

I considered the money I saved buying the Zforce to be an insurance policy for future repairs if they ever become necessary.

Try to test drive both in real conditions. I found the all-wheel-drive set-up in the RZR 900 to be pretty sketchy under heavy throttle, but the pull of the engine was very good.

As these are NOT RZR clones they have different attributes. So to compare the two it would depend on a few variables. Budget, riding style, riding geography, and fit.
As NMK said they both have pros and cons. CFM are better handling downhill crawl as its equipped with an engine brake, CFM 800 is a lil faster than the RZR 800. Personally I like how I fit in the CFM 800 more than the RZR, passenger (OH Sh!T) handle IMO is much better. CFM has an e-brake, Fully adjustable shocks, and comes with a bunch of extras that you'd probably purchase extra on the RZR.
Now the RZR will have more dealerships, 4WD will kick in automatically when one wheel slips. (Good and bad on that) Nice you don't have to push a button, but can cause you to snap an axle.
They're both strong machines, just comes down to what you like and how you ride. And what you have in your budget.
I can say I've never been disappointed in mine and its never left me stranded.

Good Info, I have driven the zforce 800 and liked everything about it, also my brother has a rzr 900 which i drive like it too. Went to the Cf dealership in Pa,the out the door price of the 2016 New zforce 800 not a 2017 is 10,875.00,   Polaris 2017 900 eps 13,978.92 out the door after rebates. I asked cf dealership to do better it will be 2 years old shortly says the lowest they can go, makes no sense to me. Does this price sound correct to everyone. Its a hard one to swallow for 2000. difference.

I agree with CF, we've got 1000 miles on ours and haven't had any trouble out of it, and we ride it pretty hard.
after getting the shocks set where I like them it rides as good as any out there, we ride with several razers  and they have
had some problems, also the cf has differential lock as the Polaris doesn't .
for the money you can't beat a CF.

What dealer did you go to?
If you are close enough, check out Kibuk's in Kittaning Pa. Nick Jr. and Nick Sr. are great to deal with and always willing to help out.
One thing I did want to say, at least about them, When mine needed service Nick drove 1 1/2 hrs each way to pick mine up, fix it, and return it. The Polaris dealer in my back yard wouldn't even offer delivery if I bought it there.
Says a lot about a dealer willing to drive 6hrs to make a customer happy, I didn't even buy from them. They are getting the CFM 1,000 in soon as well.
PM me if you want.

That's a $3k difference, then add a roof, a winch, mirrors, some other little tuff on that RZR and your another $1k+. That does seem like a low price on a 900s I've seen them more around the $16k mark.
