Bought a 15 left over.  At 10 miles lost the right rear shock. Assuming it was not built correctly and lost all oil out of it.  Cf Moto replaced the shock quickly with a "new" design with single spring.  Still arguing with dealer 6 weeks later that they are not the same shocks and I want them to match.  Machine handles funky with one single and one double spring set up.  Other than that I love the machine.  I have had to tighten more bolts than I care to think about and still can't get rid of a rattle in the steering column although all fasteners are tight. I guess time will tell how it holds up. Currently sitting at 160 miles but plan to ride a lot more in coming weeks.

I'd keep on the dealer !   I'd tell them that I need something in writing that says 2 different shocks are safe to ride and will not cause any handling problems. That way if something happens you have documented proof that is what they are saying. OR get you matching shocks.  I believe it's the dealer not wanting to go through the paperwork etc.  ONE of my rear springs was slightly bend and barely rubbing the shock, not the reservoir , the shock. My dealer replaced BOTH. So I believe Cfmoto would has done the same for you, I'm surely no one special.

Okay, I have some time so let me get in on the conversation here. I have an 800-EX EPS with about 350 miles on it now, and I'm happy with my purchase so far, with just a few disappointing items on my list. 1st. I still find the rear suspension squeeky, it seems to be from the lower A frame outer attachment bolts. I tried to lube them but they didn't seem to take any lube. The dealer said they lubed them and that they took grease but they still make some noise that concerns me. 2nd. The 1/4 clear plastic tube leak indicator located on the right side had some antifreeze in it. It wasn't much maybe 1/8 teaspoon that I cleaned out of it. I have put another 50 miles on it and noticed just a little of (hopefully) residual fluid that I will clean out again and keep an eye on it. 3rd. This should be of concern to all owners, the coolant tank is chafing against a sharp point of a bracket that's located located behind and outboard of the tank. Mine will no doubt start to leak very soon, if something isn't done about padding it. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

I have not noticed it but I will take a second look right away. Thanks for the heads-up. And on the squeaking suspension...I feel your pain. I did get mine fixed but it meant stopping the bushings from rotating on the a-arm with good adheasive and re-polishing the sleeves from the corrosion they had. I have some info in the How Tos.

I have a left over 2015 Z Force 800EX without EPS. Have 270 miles on it and just had the first service done. Had the dealer replace the rear shocks as one was rubbing on the reservoir. No other issues as of yet. Did replace the crappy factory mirrors though.

Im not really having a problem with mine yet but my one friend is and maybe you guys can help him out. He starts it up and idles fine but when he gives it gas it bogs down and sounds like shit. i know he put a new throttle body on cuz there was codes up for that and he found a loose wire to one of the coil packs and he fixed that. so at the moment he has spark to both cylinders and fuel pressure, no codes on the dash, but it still idles fine and bogs down when you give it throttle.

I have a 2015 Zforceex with 4200 miles on it with no problems until now.  My clutch is getting more noisy and is holding back less.  I will be taking it in to my dealer soon for them to look it over.  I also am starting to shop for replacement tires.

Got a new sprage clutch put in and even though my machine was out of warrentee about 3-4 months the parts were no cost!  How about that!

46mi on a 2016 cforce 500 HO. Engin randomly starts up at high idle 2700-3500 rpm and normally idles at 1700rpm, suppose to be 1400rpm. While doing my first service I found the rear diff 1/2" below the fill whole and no grease in any of the rear swing arm pivot points. (No, I do not use a pressure washer to clean it)

Passenger side mirror started to look scuffed from the inside. Called dealer, Cfmoto said cosmetic issues are only 90 day warranty, but they'll cover it anyway.
Great to see a company doing what it takes to keep customers happy.
( I hope when they do make it big in the American market that they keep this level of customer service.  If they do, they'll be the company that sets the bar )

Well I ran into my first problem with my 800 trail.  Riding this weekend the tranny started making a grinding noise.  Got just shy of 400 miles on it.  I'll call the dealer tomorrow.

Dealer found a bearing that went bad.  He is not sure why - part problem or install issue.

So now at 560 miles I had the tranny bearing problem, fixed under warranty, battery went dead one month after warranty expired (its a $160 battery) and now the thermo switch went out.  Dealer said the part is back ordered.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should have paid the extra $ and got a RZR.

Hi so I have a 2015 Z800ex. Just put 500kms on it from new and now for some reason it doesn't want to idle anymore when it gets warm. Dealer trying to figure it out but no luck so far. Anybody had any experience with this?

About 65 miles on 500 HO atv. The starter quit working. Got it home and pulled it apart Monday. The relay was working fine but got nothing from the starter. Checked voltage and it was getting good power. Turns out the connection on the starter was corroded. I cleaned it and put dielectric grease on it. Now it starts up easer than it ever has from day one. Someone really needs to educate the manufacture on what dielectric grease is, and how to use it. I guess now I need to pour through the entire machine to clean and grease every connection.

2015 Z Force 800 (purchased in May as a leftover). 740 miles.
1. Rear suspension bushings squeaky - 150 miles. Glued in place and torqued through bolts, no longer squeak.
2. Rear drivers side wheel bearing loose - 150 miles. Re-torqued.
3. Shitty stock 2 ply tires get holes in sidewall. Replaced 4 tires (550 miles) while in WV at Hatfield McCoys...
4. Rear passenger side wheel bearing loose - 740 miles. Re-torqued.
5. Front and Rear A-Arm bushings starting to get "sloppy".
6. And now the big whammy that I'm not to thrilled about (need to call dealer tomorrow) both sides front A Arms (top) are cracked at welds where the lower shock mount is!. - 740 miles. See pic attached.
7. Lower shock mount loose on front drivers side. Hole slightly egged out.
