2015 zforce 800ex. Not sure of the mileage, but it's been punished but we'll taken care of for two years. Brake pads wear out fast, really fast. I noticed cheap brake pins corrode faster than normal hanging up pads. Belt has been great. The unit kills out every now and then, but always starts back up. Very unusual, no check eng light. Water pump leaks. Shifter trim bezel wants to pop off all the time. Seat belts are trash, I'm going to have to upgrade. Other than these things, everything else has been my fault! Lol. It's one Bad Motha Moto...

CForce 500 HO
14 months old
260 miles
EPS motor, and thermal switch bad
At 11 months and about 200 miles the starter motor went bad
Also had TPS problems at about 2-3 months old
Had a few other problems along the way but very minor compared to this list.

After three months use and at least 600Km on each of the 11 Z550 EX EFI buggys we have the only issues are;

Exhaust springs, something CFMOTO really should be doing something about.

One caliper leaking and destroyed the dust seal. (seal kit same as Honda N400/N600 front 38MM in case anyone is interested)

We have fitted pre-filter up behind the headrests on plastic plumbing pipe, these are trapping all bar the very fine dust which at 500Km was negligible despite the very dusty condition here in the 'campo'.
 This kind of thing

We may fit Twin-air foam filters later as they have proven fantastic on the GS Moon 260's reducing ring wear from 7 to 10 weeks to 7 or 8 months.

A couple of seats have pulled the brass inserts out of the spacer bracket between seat and mounting frame. I am thinking of installing runners as we are having all sizes of clients of course and with the seat right back on the slots it is a bit of a stretch for smaller clients. Just need to find the right ones as the 'standard' universal 40mm ones are too long.

2015 Uforce 800
At ~ 780 kms master brake let loose (this time last year)
At ~ 780 kms the rear shocks were leaking so bad driving on snow packed roads bottomed out the machine in shallow dips
Thermo switch
At ~ 1200kms the water pump went out of it in addition to other seals

At 1560 kms the 4 shocks were replaced with Elka Stage 3's

At ~1800 kms the water pump is once again gone along with clips and other seals
2 X rear brake issues

both headlamps still fog up and dealership blamed me for exceeding the high water mark however i don't sit XALLS deep in water  - not since my field MP days
CFMOTO CANADA will not replace even with emails showing it happening since day one.

I cannot afford to have this much down time every year.

Ive been on 3 runs this season due to busted (Warrantied) equipment.

2016 zforce 800 926 miles and piston put valve through head. dealer says dirt problem but wouldn't that be caused by timing problem?

Yes...and many 2016 800s had mis-matched cam sprocket & chain sets causing them to jump. There's a thread here on that with pics. Also there were some that had cam chain tensioner problems.

Well i can add to this list

I drive a 2017 cf moto 500s/520

have right now almust 20000km and 700h on

the problems caused by the machine is the cam shain tensiner at about 2500km and some bad brake lines.
then some caused problems by the way i drive it like the ball joints and the tie rods ends. driving around in rocky areas and climb upp and down of those sharp edged rocks give the machine a beating.

2018 ZForce 500 trail, love the machine, here are some minor first problems.Missing bolt that holds exhaust to the side of the block, broken exhaust spring, dust from original air filter in intake system. To me these are minor, and acceptable as they are an easy fix, mostly due to Q/C.Air filter issue is standard, and i should have known to put a better one on first.I am happy thus far and hope to have many good years with this machine!Btw,wife loves it,and thats all that matters! :)

2018 ZForce 1000, bought new 2 months ago.  Currently has ~1250kms on it.  I followed break-in procedure pretty closely, it's first service was done by dealer at 500km, and I just changed the oil for a second time at 1235km.

Problems:

>Think I had a bad left rear shock, it thunked pretty hard on bumps.  Dealer replaced it with a new style shock from the 2019 1000's, and will be replacing the other rear to match also.

>Has an issue sometimes with grinding when shifting into gear, it's a known issue and dealer is currently ordering parts to repair it.

>Passenger 4pt harness would not buckle 90% of the time and eventually stopped working altogether.  Dealer swapped it out no problem, I just brought it in and they gave me a new one.

>A couple minor things like loose heat shields on both exhaust pipes due to crappy clamps, I replaced them with good hose clamps and it's fine now.  also blew a fuse for the fan once but replaced it and no issues since.

>Also, the rear sway bar mount bushings had a lot of play in them recently (may or may not have contributed to the thunking I was getting with the shock, I didn't notice it until I had the shock removed to replace), but I have removed the swaybar completely as a lot of people suggest.  Will be trying it out for it's first real trip without it tomorrow but

Might seem like a lot, but other than the gear issue it's been minor things I've fixed myself and there hasn't been a time yet that I've missed out on a trip due to issues.  I love this thing to death, it looks great, works amazing, and is a ton of fun!  I get a lot of people asking about it too, and it hangs with the big boys no problem.   Slowly making it my own with front and rear bumpers, front mudflaps (we got our asses/legs soaked every time we went out in it), plans for a custom built stereo box and second battery, and lightbar I need to get mounted.  I'm happy with the purchase, especially with how my dealer has treated me since buying it.

2018 ZForce 1000

(nearly) 2 year update on my '17 800 Trail.
Other than my improvements to the engine air intake and installing better skid plates, shocks, and half doors, at over 5000 kilometers (3200 miles) the only breakdown I have suffered is a lost nut off a sway bar link!

2018 z1000 EPS LX with 450kms on it:

Had the fan fuse blow at 300kms as you did, replaced it and its been fine since...
bent rear brake disc shield on inside of the wheel, Must have caught a branch or small rock in there...
Also had shifter issues (hard to shift and whatnot) dealer adjusted and it seems way better now (time will tell)

Had an issue where it bogged right down when i tried to accelerate last time out... I just brought it in for its break-in service and picked it up today. Going for a run tomorrow so hopefully its all good now.. Dealer seems to think maybe it was water in the gas perhaps..

Otherwise been a good machine so far, I dont baby it either so Im happy so far..

The rear suspension hits a little harder than I would prefer but my dealer says to put some more miles on it before I adjust the springs to ensure they have settled in..

going to add a RZR 800 style 2" suspension lift in the near future and some bigger tires, maybe some wheel spacers to bring the width out to 63"

A bad spark plug can & will cause this, have they been changed & are you sure.
