Is power steering needed on a cf moto 400?

Thinking about getting a 400, is the power steering a must have?

Power steering is nice, but not a must. If you have shoulder problems or ride rough trails, it will noticable at the end of the day. You do hurt less

My response to this question is, not so much the assistance as the "kick back" it protects you from  ;)
