Has anyone bought a Cfmoto directly from China on Alibaba?

Has anyone from Europe or the USA etc. bought a Cfmoto directly from China on Alibaba?

Anyone know any good sellers?

I'm in the UK, a Cforce 450 costs around $7k USD here, buying direct from China looks like they would cost around $1k, yes there might be warranty problems, but that wouldn't matter as I could just buy two and keep the second one in storage to cannibalize for spare parts as and when I need them.

800 bucks for a CForce 1000 with free delivery...and only one per order needed. Probably some areas can't get free delivery but it says there's a one year warranty. I think I would sure check it out.

Shipping would take up a big chunk of the $800.

I wouldn't risk it, but would be interested in what happened if someone else decides to roll the dice.

For big heavy items like an ATV on Alibaba whey they say 'free shipping' I think what they mean is it is only free shipping to a container port in your country, the cost of transporting the item from the container port to your home has to be paid for and organised by you. That might be easy if you live near a container port but very expensive if you live somewhere in land very far from a port.

There also might be tax and import fees that governments might charge.

I tried messaging some sellers on alibaba to see if they would ship one to the UK, the ones that looked like they were better sellers (older accounts with lots of reviews and activity) said they wouldn't ship to Europe. It was only the accounts that looked a bit more like they could be scammers (newer with no reviews or activity) that said they could ship to the UK no problem.

Sort of an old thread but the Warranty is very specific as far as you only have a warranty in USA ONLY if you have proof of purchase from a USA dealer.
So, if you buy from out of the country, no warranty for you.
