Hmm..odd, would have thought you there would have been more responses by now. A lot of people are going to the 800Xc.

I have a 2013 CF500 that I use for spraying, towing a mower and trailer, hunting and trailing. Had no problems with it so far that I didnt cause (putting dirty fuel in tank) and do all the services myself at the right times. Been a good reliable machine so far.

I bought a CForce 600 Tour a few months ago.  I have nothing against a CForce 500, I just wanted the one that had "more civilized" room for 2 people.  Local dealer here is outrageous $$$ for setup, etc, total jerks.

I have had nothing wrong with it as far as I know.  It seems to always have a "Low" reading on battery tender when parked, even for 1 day.  It always starts and doesn't do anything bad.  I think, but not certain, that the 600 can turn sharper/smaller circles than 500.  Something about advertised 15% less, probably "lost" on a longer 600 Tour.  Dunno.

It was a bitch of a job to put on a new NU-8703ST air filter.  The clamps holding it in place were on the bottom, impossible to get off by un-screwing.  I had to pry everything apart to get the OEM one off.  Use Maximan FAB! Oil on it.  This is something that I have seen all over forums, replace the OEM filter, it is junk.

It is also not so easy to add connections for a battery tender, but do it if you get a CF500, JMO.  You can zip tie it under the back plastic rack.

Careful using winch, do not let it "free spool" without tension on cable in either direction.  It will snarl up and be a total PITA to unwind it get it un-stuck/un-snarled.

Others complain about tires, but I have had mine in 10" of snow (plowing 250' hill driveway) and they worked fine.  I did get stuck in backyard dirt trying to pull 7'x8' flatbed trailer around hilly area.  I put it in 4WD and got Un-Stuck.  Simple solution.  Bigger tires may look nice, but max size is 27" and may need an trans-belt ajust-weights, etc.  I forget the name, just look for it on youTub, lots of videos.

Do not transport it in Park, you may break the parking pin.  Use Neutral, with adequate tie-downs.  I mean the ratchet kind, not the cheesy pinch-grip ones.

Pay attention to CFMoto "break-in procedures".  Hopefully, if done correctly, you will not have self-induced problems.

Carry SPARE FUSES for Fan, blows sometimes when WET!!! Listen & Test Fan Regularly!

While the american idiot belief that "Bigger is Better", that may not be the case for all users of ATVs.  Bigger will mean less fuel mileage out in the sticks.  You may have to carry extra gas, or figure out something.  Bigger is heavier, blah, blah, blah.  For me, a 600 is fine.  If a 500 was 2-seater, and 2 people weight NOT the usual american Wallyworld tub, it would be OK.  If you choose a non-Tour 600, it would also be shorter than a 600-Tour.  Make sure that what you have to tow it around with works, and the ATV fits trailer or truck.

I think nearly any CFMoto ATV is fine if you don't beat the crap out of it, maintain it, and try to keep it somewhat clean after rides.  Snow is pretty nice, sort of self-cleaning as it works.    I added self-made snowplow mount.  Photos to view:

Just my observations and opinions, plus some from forums, Ytube, videos.

YMMV

The 2022 600 comes in white.  I do not know if the 500 comes in white for 2022.  Find out from dealer somewhere....

If it does, you get camo for about 1/2 of the year at less cost.  Just an observation.

Just choose a season that you want the "camo".  heh, heh.

YMMV

If that is the case with Dealer #1, then go find another dealer.

My local dealer was charging $800 over MSRP, + $600-$900 for "Dealer Prep", meaning assembly, and outrageous "Doc" prices.  I saw a YT video of CForce assembly out of the box and tech could put it together in 25 minutes, not rushing around either.  In addition, they would not guarantee a particular model/color even with a very large $$-deposit. Thanks, but No Thanks.  On top of that, I was ignored on 3 visits to the place, so I just crossed it off my list. I looked at a 400-500 mile radius and finally found a dealer owner that sounded honest, had reasonable prices, and zero double-talk.

The "2nd Dealer" was optimistic about when "Model X" would arrive and sent official paperwork guarantee cost and appropriate fees.  All of it was FAR less $$$ than local.  I received call+email when "Model X" arrived, holding it until I could go get it.  Pleasant experience there, no problems.

Choose dealership with your feet and wallet.  My opinion.

YMMV
