I have 1000 on my z1000 and it's going great. Good oil. Air filter is original and still very clean. Just adjusted the valves and it ran even better I think.

I have almost 6000 miles (9500 Km) on my 17 800. Still runs like new.

This thread is exactly why I joined this forum (though once I have the buggy will be sure to post a ton) as I like what I am seeing with the 2021 800 and the 950 and for the dollar it is hard to overlook them.  Was planning on a Polaris but the more feedback I read and see the less worried I am becoming over CF overall.

I am currently building a house on our montana property which will allow us to ride the UTV from the garage into miles of wilderness.  It gets remote fairly quickly and cell is often left behind so reliability is a realistic concern to me.  Fixing stuff is simple since that is what I do but not always simple top of a mountain somewhere.

Enjoying what I am reading so far and looking forward to adding into it.

I should do an update on my May post, it's not ALL unicorns and butterflies. :)
At 9800 Km I just recently replaced 4 wheel bearings (3 were loose, one just because) and a set of front brake pads.
Replaced 2 out of the 3 exhaust coupling donuts, the rear sway bar, and the spark arrestor, (the screen had disintegrated).
And the third set of tires. Heading into five digits on the ODO and running like new.

I have 21 miles on my 2021 800 trail and from day one it had only 5–15 lbs of oil pressure. But within four days of my dealer receiving it back in for warranty CFMOTO directed my dealer to install a complete new motor. My point is this... before I purchased a CFM I registered and read at the various forums of Can-Am Polaris etc. And considering that I would have spent $17,000 to replicate the CF Moto out the door, and  FM has a good warranty this is who I went with. I must add I did see a lot of complaints about CFM dealers being not up to parr
