Good evening new to the forum and cfmoto.

Almost an owner, brought a cforce 500 almost 2 weeks ago and still have not taken delivery.

First they had to transfer it from another location - fine I get that.

Now I am waiting on an ECU apparently they are not being sold with them and the dealer has to order them and they are only allocated a certain number each month per dealer. Anyone else heard of this, wondering if I should undo this deal and find something else or another dealer.

I'm sorry..but "sold without an ECU"...that's BS..however I have heard of them sending some without hitch receivers because the factory couldn't get them and sent vouchers. However for something required to run it.... it's more likely this one had a bad ECU and am having an issue with a replacement. To me it's not a good sign and..if it were mine I would be entertaining the idea of something different.

Right, stinks to high heaven. I did not find anything online about this either.

I wont name the dealer here at this point, but if its not resolved today I will be looking elsewhere and for something else.
