Hi. I'm stymied about where to find PM's on the site. On the main page of forums there's a short black bar near the bottom stating 'Mark all messages read', but no apparent way to see the messages.

I notice that in Chrome, when CF Moto in the teal coloured title bar is clicked once to refresh, a black bar flashes ever so briefly one time below it, that appears to have a menu including 'Messages', but it is gone far too quickly for me to react, and further refreshes of that bar never bring it back again unless the site is closed and re-opened. I have tried Firefox and Explorer browsers but they don't bring up even that one flash of menu bar.

I can't find anything about it on a search or using the search function.
I can see a PM if I open the email alert that I get on my email server, and I click on the 'reply' link. Then I can see the quoted PM in a reply-to window. I'm sure there's meant to be a more direct way to read PM's though, that I'm just not seeing.

Am I looking in all the wrong places?  Thanks.

For me, on Chrome, I click on the main banner, then I can click on the triple-bar on the right to hide or unhide the black bar with the messaging menu. I think you can do this anywhere if you see that triple-bar button and you are at the top of any screen. Here's a screen shot:

Well that's just pie in my face! There it is/was all the time. You know, I hovered over that three line gizmo but it said 'undefined' and I didn't click on it, assuming it was a function not used by the writer and me being leery of blowing things up by poking the wrong button.

Don't feel bad...there's buttons I haven't tried yet..just because I don't want any problems either...lol
