CForce 1000 / Re: Oil for the V-Twin.....
August 23, 2023, 09:46:52 AM
I run nothing but AMSOIL Signature Series 0w-40 in the engine, and AMSOIL Severe Gear 80w-90 in the trans and diffs. With this combination and by AEM 21-2011DK air filter I expect the engine to reach no less than 25,000km before needing anything more than a valve adjustment.

CForce 1000 / Re: Air Filter

I came from the Rally Car and Road Racing world with high revving high boost 4 cylinder turbo cars, like the Mitsubishi Evolution X, and I have a strong bias against oiled air filters. In my experience there is no air filter of the same quality as an AEM, so when I bought my 2023 CForce 1000 Overland it only had 11km on it when I removed the factory filter and put on a dry AEM filter, and slipped a SickSpeed water repellant cover on it right away. Part number is AEM 21-2011DK. Another nice thing about an AEM is you never need to replace it, its still good in 15 years just needs to be blown clean by an air gun occasionally.
I also only run AMSOil 0w-40 in the machine, and use AMSOil Severe Gear 80w-90 in the diffs and transmission.
If these products can keep an abused rally car ticking, its more than capable for use in an ATV.

Im looking for a set of brake pads that will last longer than the OEM pads, but I can not find a single supplier or part number other than the OEM. Please help. Id like to get EBC pads, but on there website it says its for up too the 2021 model, did the brakes change after 2021 on the Cforce 800/1000?

General Discussion / LF Front Overland Wheels
July 17, 2023, 05:57:44 PM
Looking to buy the factory front Cforce 1000 Overland wheels, only want the 14x7 wheels, do not need the beadlock or tires. I want to put a square setup on my Overland with 27x10x14 Tires all around. Let me know what you have, thanks!

Noted, scrapping the 14x10 wheels idea then. Will stick with 14x7 as it seems to be the most common size. Im considering the Black Rhino Armory 14x7 4x110 wheels, they look incredible. Will have to take me factory wheels off today and inspect them for offset info then, as these Black Rhino Armory wheels only come in +36 or +51 Offset. Ideal world id like to use the factory beadlocks on the Overland but they are 14x7 front and 14x8 rear, which as you said is sure to harm the 4x4 system.

I have a 2023 Cforce 1000 Overland, and I want to put on a set of do-anything tires that are sure to last, and the 10ply XT400's are sure to do that. My question is this; the Overlands beadlock wheels are staggered, but these tires only come in a 10" width, would there be any issue with installing a square set of System 3 SB-3 14x10 4x110 wheels? They offer the wheels in 0 & +30 offset, what would you recommend? I have a set of 1.5" wheel spacers for the ATV, but the factory lug studs are too short to accommodate so im hoping the Kimpex 194010 wheel spacer studs will be about a half inch longer, they don't list length measurements however.
If I install these 14x10 wheels, will I experience rubbing at full lock? If I choose the 0 offset option, could I return my wheel spacers? Looking to gain a wider track width to improve stability. Thanks for your help!
