Does anyone know if the heat issue on the legs has been addressed on the 2023 models? I think this was addressed in the 500 and 600 but I really am not sure. Im interested in the 800 for farm work. I don't ever see this getting a long continuous workout such as a 10 mile ride. Maybe some short trail rides under normal farm like conditions. Is this heat issue something that occurs right off the bat or on longer rides? Any info would be helpfull.

Logger,

I adjusted the linkage under the passenger seat. Search YouTube you will find it. However my shifting problems still persist but did get slightly better. Parking on a hill is a nightmare. Most of the time I leave it in neutral (except on hills). The emergency break wont hold it. I too think the breaks are improving slightly with time. Ive had to get out and push mine to release the pressure. Body rocking will not do it alone. I have not run into any error codes...yet! All this aside I am enjoying it on the homestead. Small Holding I think you call them.

Bonds,

Yes the smell was pretty bad...lol   I will look into the clutch kit. Ive seen the Vid on youtube. While it did look easy I wonder if there are any warrantee issues I need to worry about? Thanks for getting back to me!

So you did it yourself Bonds? Im really not that mechanically inclined but i to watched the video and thought I could possibly do it. On a scale of 1 to 10 what would you rate the difficulty at? 10 being the hardest.

Ive driven mine fully up at speeds up to 10 mph with no issues. I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for asking!

Good to know on the parking break. So when on a hill just use the terrible emergency brakes lol. I just now took it for a spin and I can tell it is definitely getting smoother on the start up. Exhaust smoke is still there but I just let it warm up to see if the fan would come on and it did.

Thanks for the quick reply!

New owner with 3 miles on the UFORCE 1000. My first day of ownership was not uneventful lol. Couldn't get it in or out of gear and was locked up and stranded on a hill. Finally got it into park again and after a youtube search I ended up adjusting the linkage under passenger seat. Shifting is much better now but still not 100%. Breaks are horrible. I have to stand on them to stop it on a hill. Im really hoping this gets better with some miles on it.  My real question of concern is that there seems to be a good amount of burn off coming OUT of the exhaust. Im sure its oil but its coming directly out of the exhaust pipe rather than off the surface areas of the engine/exhaust. It does smell like oil and I smell it while driving! Is this a common thing? Thanks in advance and Im praying for the rest of this UTV relationship to go more smoothly. We were all set to get a CF800 but I bailed out because of the linkage and break concerns. Any input would be helpful. This is my first UTV.
