ive done the same .but i used a ratck wrench ,to tighten the bolt
by the way it looks it was cracked,but so ive read lots ,watched vids ,
but that inside disc will not come off
back to the bolt.
i figure that bolt is threaded into the shaft that the tranmission turns
so no matter how you try the shaft has to be replaced
so NEVER OVER TIGHTEN PPL
