aren't you hitting the rev limiter?
If you plan on going above 23 mph i would recommend high gear

CForce 600 , X6 / Re: Are my rpms too high?

Put the 16g weights on my 600 and the take off is much smoother and at lower rpms.
Also the cruising rpms dropped from around 5500 rpms to 4800rpms, wich makes the quad quieter and smoother.

The cforce 600 parts catalogue has 2 different weight options. 10g (stock) and 16g. Maybe the 16gram option is for cruising and people who wants a more tame machine

i will order a new one way bearing and see how it hold ups with periodic greasing.
on slow more technical descents is annoying when the clutch disengages and i have to get to the brakes

took the transmission apart and there is no one way bearing, just a regular bearing.
I still have engine braking until around 4-5mph. On steep descents i have to keep giving it some throttle so the clutch don't freewheel the belt

Hello

i'm new to the forum, so hello everyone. I'm from Lisbon, Portugal
Im the proud owner of a 2020 cforce 600 EPS and i noticed something the shifting is kind of hard, when the transmission is on load, also i hear some whine on deceleration. All of this inclines me to the clutch bearing.
Had anyone deleted the one way bearing and swapped with a regular one? Scooters and other CVT vehicles i know don't have them
No one I know but I assume you can get the bearing for any that are over 600cc as they are just bearings and see. I am thinking that the bearing or oneway doesn't even come into play until the belt sets down on it..something below 9mph and the primary releases the belt. If it were mine I would check the oneway for a problem like seizing..lack of lube.. and that the primary and belt are not touching when at idle or stationary. It may just be shimmed or aligned wrong. As for the whining...may not be the clutch system. May just be the rest of the drivetrain. But check the other things first.

Yes, just saw a video from a cforce 800 and it's just a regular bearing.
I own a 300cc honda scooter and i have engine brake almost until it stops, around 5mph the clutch disengages and lets the belt rest against the axle bearing, on the cforce it should work the same. I will try it out
