Looks good.  I know the thread is old, but hoping you are still around!  :)   Did you wire the heated grips AND a thumb warmer to the acc plug wiring?  Thanks.

Has anyone dealt with an intermittent horn?  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!  ;D

I am hoping to find out the same thing. I ordered a remote but trying to figure how much I need to tear apart to install it.
Most remote controls just electronically bypasses the manual switching so all you need to do besides give it keyed power and a ground is tie it into the manual switch wiring. One to the Hot, One to the "IN" and one to the "OUT" wire. Then you can have both if needed. Cake.

Thanks.

Looks good   I did something similar.  I have since painted the mount plate black with plasti-dip.

I don't have any exact numbers, but my 2021 600T with 200 miles on it is pretty much the same way. Revs high.  It is a totally different animal than my 400 for sure.   400 engages and gets moving quickly.  The 600 seems to lag along, until as others have said you get those rpm's up there.  The machine is sure a beast though. Can get through anything and up anything!   :)    I have read about changing weights, etc...adding pennies.....and so on.  The question is though.....if you do that, will the machine perform as intended?

CForce 600 , X6 / Wireless winch remote

Has anyone added a wireless remote to their winch on a 600T?    I "think" I found the relay, under the hood?   I am wondering if I can even get it out...the back bolt....could I get it back in there?  Next question would be whether or not it will pull out far enough to splice wires to it?   It is very tight.

Insight from those who have done it will be appreciated.  Pics?   :D

Good job.  Seems like it would take a lot of lucky finds to replicate!   :(

So, to clarify.....the UP-6229ST will work on both the 600 touring & 400 models as they measure 2.25" flange, 4-5" dia and 5-6" long.    Correct?    Also, no outerwear recommended other than the red foam it comes with......oiled properly.

Thanks!
Correct. The reason we don't recommend the outerwears directly on oiled filters is because the oil wicks to the Outerwears causing it to capture dust that normally wouldn't which causes accelerated restriction in airflow. Not that using them away from the oiled filter isn't a good idea..because it is. Over the intake tube as CFM did with the Zs..as long as people know to clean them regularly. When I had my stacks and needed to go as far as I could in dusty conditions, I had these round red Outerwears I called "Bonnets" I would slip over the intakes.

Awesome.  Thanks.

Changed the oil, filter and plug on my new to me 2018 Cforce 400.  Re-routed the winch wiring that was done poorly (not factory), and cleaned her up!   Ordered some black widow ramps to get her into the truck!    Ordered a set of hand guards too.

General Discussion / Hand guards
January 11, 2022, 01:02:57 PM
Hello.  It looks like you can get a set of OEM hand guards for $95 from CF Moto in black, or camo to match my machine for $120.

Question is......is the cost of these worth it?   What other hand guards have you guys tried on your machines that work well?

Thanks!

Picked up my first ATV last week.  2018 Cforce 400.  262 miles on it.  Everything seems to be in great condition.  Looking forward to riding it.   Located in the quiet corner of Northeast, CT.
