Thanks, I will start here and check these. I do have the original belt with just over 1400 miles on it.

General Discussion / Zforce 1000 Shifter Won't Move
September 26, 2021, 07:36:27 PM
I have a 2018 Zforce1000 with about 1,400 mikes on it. If the engine is off I can move the gear shift through all the gears easily. If I start the engine the shifter won't move out of park, I can force it with some effort to H, N or L but then it is stuck there. If I shut off the engine it will move easily again. Any thoughts?

General Discussion / Re: No Steering

I checked the u-joints and all were tight, I locked a pair of vice grips on the two sets of u- joints and positioned against the frame and tried to turn the steering wheel and everything seemed solid, no slipping. So I am hoping it is the rack, already ordered one, just hope it gets here in time for our labor day trip.

General Discussion / No Steering

Hey Group, need some help here. I have a 2018 Zforce1000 with about 1,400 miles on it, 2.5" lift and 30" tires and we ride pretty hard on a lot of rocky terrain. On our last ride I noticed the steering getting a little notchy and seemed off. Then I started having a delayed steering response and finally no steering at all - steering wheel spins but the wheels don't turn. I figured a blew out the rack with the bigger tires but when I removed it today and turned the shaft on the rack it works fine. Going to check the u joints and shafts next but wanted to see if anyone has any other ideas. Thanks!
