Just about to turn 600 miles and it decided to start puking oil from what looks like the seem between case halves. I've seen that this isn't uncommon. Should be covered still but I gotta know. Any chance tightening the bolts would help? I've snugged them up already without any apparent change. Motors getting torn down isn't it

All righty then. Pickin up my new 2021 800 ex Friday afternoon.  Will be lookin for leaks when I roll it off the trailer.

Make sure you change out that crap filter first thing. With any luck your dealer will have it in stock and you can do it before it even comes off the trailer. I'm really starting to lean toward that being the original cause of all this as I had to order it and wait. It only had 10 or so hours on the engine if I remember right when I changed it too. It was at least before the first oil change. The dusty coating on the tubing to the throttle body was a bit alarming to me and its the only common denominator for the symptoms other than of course simply manufacturing defect but that seems less likely. I can't believe CFMoto is still using these shit filters. Also since were on the topic you should really look into relocating your intake. I just replaced the upper tube with 2" pvc and ran it thru the perforated panel between the seats then closed that panel off with some aluminum heat reflective tape. I originally had a really cheap filter on that but found a decent prefilter online that works much better. My airbox is so much cleaner now and its not loud like some people say either. Not sure why unless its just because I kept it the same height as stock.

I got the 2" traditional snorkel guard. super tight fit. I ended up sanding it and the pvc coupling down some to make it a little easier to fit together. Enjoy the ride man, their pretty damn fun considering the price. My 800 trail has no problem hanging with the comparable rzr my buddy bought. Same model year too, he was a little upset when we swapped machines actually lol. Now that I've done the dr pulley sliders and reclocked I can't wait to line up with him again, not say anything and dust him lol. The look on his face should be worth it.

I just hooked up my 2021 CFMOTO ZForce 800 Trail Turn Signal Wiring. Email if you still need help
What kit did you use. I just ordered a Ryco Moto 5101 kit. Looked pretty clean install and uses existing indicator lights in the dash board.
