UForce 1000 / Re: CFMOTO customer non-service
October 07, 2023, 07:45:32 AM
My warranty was already expired.  That doesn't excuse them from replying to a customer.
The dealership told me that CFMOTO wouldn't give them any guidance on the throttle issue either and that it was a common problem.  They were having other warranty issues with them as well.
Too bad for the brand.  With proper customer support, they could dominate the market because of the bang for the buck.  Every brand and model has some issue but it's how the company handles that issue that sticks in the minds of the consumers.
Y'all have fun and be safe.  I'm out.  Sold mine and done with CFMOTO.  Already bought another popular and highly rated brand.  Time will tell as to any issues but friends and reports indicate the company takes care of them.

UForce 1000 / CFMOTO customer non-service
October 05, 2023, 11:59:55 AM
After having issues with the touchy throttle on my 2021 Uforce 1000, I tried the MSC clutch kit and ECU flash.  It was marginally better but not smooth like other manufacturers models that my friends have.  The dealership was not helpful.
I contacted CFMOTO customer service through their website about a month ago and have heard crickets.  Not so much as Hey we got your message and will get back with you.  And you know that they know there is a problem because they have supposedly fixed the issue in the newer year models.
Before this, I was actually considering buying one of their motorcycles also but now I've sold my Uforce and will look elsewhere if I buy another UTV.  If they don't stand behind it with customer service then I won't buy their products.

For Sale / For Sale: 2021 Uforce 1000

As evidenced by the low mileage, I've decided that I don't need a side by side taking up space in my garage.
2021 Uforce 1000 with 137 miles.  Just got the first service done.  Includes front, rear windshields and a plow mount (not the plow).  Main Street Cycles stage 1 clutch kit and ECU tune.  Never taken on trails or off-road.
$10,700.  Located in Waynesville, NC.

UForce 1000 / Re: Throttle issues

I wish that there were actual mechanics at the dealerships these days that would try to figure out problems and come up with a fix.  Now they just shrug their shoulders and say that they aren't allowed to do anything but the basics according to the manufacturers and their dealers.  Pretty much what I got yesterday.
I am not a mechanic.  I can replace parts and do simple maintenance.  If I can figure out what the part looks like, I will spray it with carb cleaner!
I asked the dealer if they could flash my ECU or a newly purchased one with the program for a Z or even a newer model Uforce 1000.  They said they could only flash according to my VIN number.  And the new ECU would cost about $900.  Not helpful.

I have a 2021 Uforce 1000 and it's the first side by side I've owned or operated.  Had lots of motorcycles and ridden 4 wheelers.
From the start, this machine has had a very touchy throttle.  I only have 139 miles on it because I just use it around the house or neighborhood and waited until today to take it for the first service.
I have installed the MSC Stage 1 clutch kit and it made almost no difference.  I sent them my ECU and it made a small difference.
The dealership said that they are all touchy on the throttle and that they didn't have a fix.  CFMoto hasn't offered them any ideas or fixes.
MSC now says maybe the belt needs replacing but I've driven it only in Low to this point and not hard driving.  Plus, this has been a problem since day one.  I'm tired of throwing money on fixes that don't seem to work.
It seems almost like it's running lean.  Once it gets past the initial throttle engagement, it runs great.  Also, once it warms up it will just stop running if left idling occasionally.  Then it requires giving it some throttle to start it instead of just turing the key.
Anybody have any other ideas?
I actually started a new post with this same info before reading this thread again.  Duh.

General Discussion / Re: bed rails

Those look nice.  Heavy duty but expensive.  Was hoping to see that someone had figured out a cheaper solution and not quite as high as those.  Thanks for the help.

General Discussion / bed rails

Anybody mounted bed rails to their UForce 1000?  Will be using mine to haul some wood, etc and wanted taller sides.  If so, what did you use?

Just bought my first UTV. 2021 Uforce 1000 in silver.  Will be using it for utility and riding around the neighborhood.
Excited so far.  Added windshield, rear view mirror, and rubber stall mat for the bed.
